VimHero is operated by HAUGE LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and hosted at vim-hero.com. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
Account creation and authentication is handled by Clerk. Your login credentials are managed by Clerk and never stored by us. We receive your email address from Clerk to identify your account.
As you use VimHero, we store your progress — which lessons you’ve completed and how long they took — so you can pick up where you left off.
We use PostHog to collect usage data (page views, clicks, feature usage) to help us improve the product. This data may be associated with your account.
Payments
Payments are processed by Polar. We do not store your credit card information. Polar’s privacy policy governs data collected during checkout.
We’ll send you transactional emails such as receipts and password resets. With your consent, we may also send product updates and announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Third-party services
We use the following services which may process your data:
- Clerk — authentication and account management
- Polar — payment processing
- PostHog — product analytics
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Data retention
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time by emailing us at the address below.
Children
VimHero is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
